Restora backs up WordPress in small steps that finish on any host, and rolls a restore back on its own if a step fails. Free forever; Pro adds encryption, remote storage and the hub.
v1.0.0 / WordPress 6.0+ / PHP 7.4+ / GPLv2
runs on any WordPress host, and stores wherever you already pay for
Anyone can zip a folder. The day you need it, the question is whether the restore finishes, and what happens if it does not. Restora was written for that day.

Files and database are written in small resumable steps. A 2 GB site completes on shared hosting with a 30-second limit, without touching PHP settings.

New files are staged, the originals are kept, and every step is checked. If anything fails, the site goes back to exactly where it was. No half-restored sites.

A standalone, password-protected console restores any archive even when the site is white-screened or the database is gone. Upload one file, open it, pick a backup.

one tick, one backup

Checksums, resumable steps, signed updates, honest licensing. The parts nobody demos, and the parts that decide whether you get your site back.
Restora carries its own archive format, its own resumable runner and its own recovery console, so a restore behaves the same on a $3 shared plan and on a dedicated server.

one engine, every target
Local, S3-compatible or SFTP, in the region you chose. Pro encrypts every backup with its own password, sealed to your public key: the private key stays with you, so even a hacked server cannot read its backups. Every archive carries per-file checksums.
